GPCR Groups

G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCR's), aka 7 Transmembrane Receptors (7TMRs) are the largest family of proteins with an amazing diversity in both receptor and the type of stimulus (ligand) they sense the cell’s surrounding environment.

GPCR's control a plethora of physiological processes that include development, sight, smell, taste, and are also involved in diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. More information about GPCR Groups.
